International Conference on Ship Drag Reduction (SMOOTH-Ships) was organised on 20-21 May 2010 in Istanbul. SMOOTH-Ships Conference brought researchers together from Universities, Research Centers and Industry to discuss the latest developments on ship drag reduction which includes air lubrication, riblets, compliant coatings, injection of polymer additives and foul release paints. The paper titled "Boundary layer and surface roughness measurements of nanostructured anti-fouling coatings on flat plates" was presented by our researchers Dr.U.Oral Ünal and Burcu Ünal in the conference.
